KaAri X
Our commitment and love for all things art extends beyond just what we design. We can't help but marvel at the creative vision and awe inspiring talent of the incredible artists around us. And that is why we chose to collaborate with some incredible artists and creators to give a new meaning to a much loved KaAri find.
The Khata journals, our beautiful post-consumer stream recycled hand-bound notebooks are special and beautiful all on their own. Handcrafted with handmade recycled paper and post consumer fabric scraps means they align in every way with KaAri's philosophy of investing in the slow and enduring. To then, have these brilliant and talented creative visionaries see what we see and raise it to the next level with their art is truly an honor.
Our collaborating artists come from all over and bring with them their unique world views. Here, a comprehensive view of all those who honored us with their time and talents.

Marissa Armas
Marissa Armas, aka Calico Classic Creations is Oregon born and raised. A product of the combined efforts of her family's teachings she considers herself a multimedia artist to the core. The main focus in all her art, wearable & not, is to use materials already in existence. Meaning lots of thrifted finds, and garage & estate sales. Since she finds inspiration in her supplies, all of her projects are one-of-a-kind creations.

Julia Kellogg Henry
Julia Elizabeth Kellogg Henry (JEKH) is a nomadic artist, poet, and small business owner with big dreams of healing the world through art. Since 2023, she has been traveling full-time with her partner, drawing inspiration for her art and poetry from the 26+ countries they've explored together. Raised in a creative family, she has been making art for as long as she can remember. Her work, often raw, reflective, and rooted in nature, seeks to capture both the beauty and complexity of life, as seen in her 2021 poetry collection, Tomorrow’s Waves. She shares her work across all social media platforms under the name that.wandering.artist.

Carol Gilden
Carol, creator of Xpressions of Creation, is an artist who combines photography and digital art to create images that blend the best of both worlds. Raised in a military family, she traveled a lot as a child, which gave her a deep appreciation for different cultures and nature. Her artistic journey didn’t start until her late 40s, sparked by a digital camera her brother gave her. Self-taught and driven by curiosity, she explores the connection between human-made structures and the natural world, often creating pieces that feel nostalgic and emotional. Guided by her faith and intuition, Carol sees art as a way to connect, reflect, and share meaningful stories rather than just decoration. She continues to experiment with new ideas while staying true to her vision of encouraging others to see the world differently. Traveling remains a big part of her life, constantly inspiring her work and helping her grow as an artist.
